MEET THE STAFF
My name is Brenda, and I am the proud owner of Doggone Groomers & Boarding, LLC. I started this business back in 1998 when I groomed my very first dog. I'll admit - I was scared and unsure of myself at the time. But I've loved animals all my life, and deep down, I knew this was what I was meant to do. The business grew quickly, and I was blessed with so many wonderful clients - both the dogs and their owners became very special to me. The boarding side of the business began with a little poodle named Jake, who needed a place to stay for the weekend. At the time, there was nothing in Waupun that offered those services, so I offered to watch him in my home. Before long, I had multiple extra dogs staying with me alongside my own. That's when I knew something had to change, so in 2007, we built our facility. I'm so thankful for the incredible clients who have supported us, and for my amazing employees who care for each and every animal as if they were their own. Over the years, the business has grown and changed, but the heart of it has always stayed the same. I still love animals. I still love what I do. It consumes a big part of my day, but it hardly feels like work. I am truly grateful to everyone who has made this journey possible.

My name is Calli and I have been working at Doggone on the boarding side since March 2021. It started as a part time job and as I fell in love with the work, I continued to learn and grow in my position. I now take care of most of the boarding part of the business & am the receptionist! I grew up around dogs and have always had a love and fascination with all animals since I was young. I have my own pup, Penelope, who I actually met here while she was boarding. I love spending my days working with animals, alongside my coworkers & my boss, who have become my best friends. My hope is to continue building relationships with all clients, two-legged and four-legged!
I'm Sadie and I’ve been working for Doggone Groomers as a Pet Stylist since the summer of 2021. Growing up I had multiple family dogs, small animals such as guinea pigs and hamsters, as well as a cat. After high school I went to college for residential construction and did some interning at a veterinary hospital. I just didn’t quite feel at home with a career in either of those positions. I quickly got introduced to Brenda. The first day I picked up a clipper it felt right, shortly after, I enrolled in a Pet Stylist program through Paragon and completed all 3 levels. I love working here with all the pets, and my job feels like home.
Hello! My name is Hannah, and I have been working at Doggone for around 4 years! I used to work on the boarding side, but I’ve since started grooming school, which has been so much fun so far! I just graduated from Carroll University in the spring with a degree in Animal Behavior. I did a lot of work with dog training, which is what I hope to also be doing soon! I do have my own pup, Sheldon, who really helped me find my passion of working with and helping dogs! I love helping others with their dogs, and really just being around people who love dogs as much as I do!
My name is Haley and I’ve been with Doggone Groomers and Boarding since March 2023. Working with animals has been a goal and passion for me since I was a small child. When I initially started looking into school for grooming, it was to be able to provide better care for my own fur babies. That has blossomed into more knowledge and growth here, under Brenda’s guidance and the support of everyone that we work with. This is more than just a job, it’s a life path that I look forward to exploring every day.
